it's about time someone was able to defend ben simmons the way that basketball theory suggests he should be able to be defended.

i love him but i disagree with bill simmons who says that he doesn't need a jumper. i still think he needs one to be an MVP candidate. this has been a fascinating series.

Ron, I was going to wait until after the draft because I thought some might have traded for 2nd round picks because they had more value if reg players were available, but none were traded.

I personally would like an all-rookie draft, mainly because I think it's dumb to be able to add someone that was dropped during the draft. That happened in TDBA a few years back - cj mccollum was dropped to draft a rookie, and later someone drafted mccollum because he was in the player pool. My opinion is that it wasn't fair to the guys who drafted before and didn't have a chance at him.

So this is my proposal: Straight rookie draft, no drafting players that aren't first year nba rookies. Those players can be added all year long.

If I put this to a vote and it passes (greater than 50% of the vote) I'll open waivers back up.

Currently, we do not allow free agency from the regular season until the draft is over. This is because NBA players no on rosters can be drafted. I propose allowing free agent additions throughout the year and making the draft exclusive to rookies. By doing this, the draft rules would be more transparent. It doesn't restrict adding current NBA players, they could be added at any point instead of waiting on the draft. Should we change to this proposal?

Poll posted. Vote will expire this Sunday 12:00 AM. Vote asap.

if adds of established vets (non rookies) is allowed, there would be no reason to use a draft pick on a dropped player.

during draft, just make all dropped players go to ww

This year. Theoretically I would be the one hurt in that deal since there would be less players to choose from in the 2nd. I would rather just draft rookies.

Ok that's 7 out of 12. I'll change it in a little while and will send email notification when I do.

We also need to vote on the budget for next year. IMO it comes down to how you manage and prioritize it, but many said a they would like a higher budget. What are some suggestions? $100? $500?
