they and JJ were the reason i took pek when i did. i looked at the board and thought there was a decent chance that one or both fell to me. glad to have them. but thought there was no chance pek made it back around.

only curious decision was the paul george one? honk's team is awesome and it seems to be a hedge for the future, when i thought it could've maybe put it his team over the top?
other than that, all you guys are stealing/picking guys i've had in my spreadsheet for a while.

i'm assuming jake gets better the second KD returns.
and there are a couple of others with super strong keepers who i think will make up for a lot.
not to mention how active a trading league this is.

Just curious, but at what point is the Paul George pick okay in your book? Last pick? 2nd to last?

i'll tell you why it baffled me
if you expect to suck, then wasting your IR spot on him isn't a big deal. you're going to waste tons of spots on injured guys
he won't be back this year. he may never be back. being shitty and stashing him during the year to see how he comes back doesn't work if you want to compete, imho. that ir spot is going to have value for a good player/roster spot you need
odds are low that he's keep-able after this year regardless and probably won't get picked that highly next year

BJL was your only threat for him IMO and he is gonna actually try this year so I would have been floored had he taken him.

and with these injuries we never quite know how it's going to affect the player's game/let alone their psyche. i think it was cwill who had rose when he went down. i'd be curious to ask that if he would've kept drose all this time knowing then what he does now.
i guess the safe bet would've been- pick george up as you're being eliminated this year from contention?
that said, i know you had a gazillion picks. but your team is so good it would seem to me you could've used another amazing player for playoffs/championship, or to take a flyer on someone who COULD pan out for you this year.
