I thought about offering the same for Scherzer. I've got to say, Fielder's value was a ton of bricks . I couldn't move him with a pick for anything worthwhile.

I was not huge on Fielder with this injury, but I figured the trade made sense because I would gain an addition keeper, especially with one player being young and you would get an elite bat for the playoffs.
Oh well, it looks like we could have used an extra hour or day on the trade deadline.

Three teams vying for the sixth, all within a half game of each other, and all play bottom feeder teams.
I play The Goodfellas for of second place. Seven or more wins for me puts me in sole possession, gets a little more complicated after that, but 5 categories locks a bye up for The Goodfellas.

Clams, LE, Will and Gyno all play weak teams. I play Chat, the best team that's not going to make the playoffs other than one of us. I do have the tie breaker over Will and LE but I hate my pitching matchups this week. Blew my wad last week against a guy that had a sub 1 ERA with 6 quality starts and 8 saves

Well what the frick was your deal notching six quality starts and eight saves? I mean frick.
I'm trying to earn a bye over here.
But the pitching between our teams last week was incredible. Bauer had the lone bad start early in the week

I probably spend way too much time overanalyzing pitching match ups he last week of the reg season and the playoffs

I mean seriously...If you would have told me my ERA, WHIP, QS and Save numbers before the start of the week, I would have counted them as 4 wins. Also sucks that I went from 15 HRs the week before to 4. If my offense sucks this week I will be the one on the outside looking in.
