I got fricked by my accidental Eric Young pick.

I like to think the second half of my draft would have looked better if I idnt do that.

Chowds:

I love the infield, but I wouldn't mind pissing on the outfield. This team has a good mix of power and speed though.

He loaded up on pitching, but the bench is weak. The starters have potential, but I'm not a big fan of Beckett and I absolutely loathe Burnett.

If the pitchers don't frick shite up, and if he makes decent in-season moves, this is a playoff team.

Clams:

It didn't take long to notice that this team is built for the future. However, it has the capability to win now. Fielder, Zimmerman, Bruce, McCutchen, and Beckham are all guys I really think are solid options for years to come. Not a Reyes fan, but to get him in the third round may not be that bad (hell, c fricking will raped rouge and traded that homo for king felix in tdbl).

The pitchers are all either young or with question marks. Matusz and Price should be solid for years, and Liriano is looking like the Francisco of old from what I've read. Closers suck balls though.

Not a bad little squad overall, and the team in the best shape for the future so far.

I just looked at LE's team, and I am totally stumped. It totally goes against his normal philosophy. Sure, he has some solid pitching, but he totally lacks a go-to superstar on offense.

well i did pick 14th....Reynolds was the only real anchor that i could have landed in my eyes...

i went the route rmcc316 did last year to win the league. No real superstars, but a lot of people that can hit.

FWIW i think Upton, Votto, Weiters and Heyward all out hit their projections. A lot of people ragging on Votto, but he was like top 5 in OPS when healthly last year. And he gets to hit in a bunch of bandboxes

Matt Holliday was the only player i really took into consideration there.

On paper, what players behind those 2 guys can you flat out say will have better years???

In my eyes i dont see many. esp considering my projections for these guys

as for Hanson, i didnt take him as a guy for the future. HE is my #2, right now. And im comfortable with that very much

yeah, i really dont have shite for steals. but with ops, it does make power bats more valuable

for my major leaguers on my bench, branyan 27, teahen 18, melky 14, and freddy sanchez with only six, but he wont be playing at all early, i drafted him for depth down the road

i also have 3-4 prospects on my squad. i really wish you could sort just into starters and do projections and totals from there, but sadly, you cant

also, if my three closers, frasor, guerrier, and lindstrom all win closing jobs, ill be thrilled

I was hoping to land Mauer, Utley or Tulo at my spot, but all got picked before hand.

I'm not a fan of SB guys, so i automatically ruled them out of my top 5 rounds or so and i dont like to pay a premium for scarce positions high in the draft

BTW im going to do some rankings here in a bit now that i am home

well rick, les, and i thought so...he wouldn't have lasted too long in the 2nd.

it's a 14 team league and he's clearly in the top 2 of his position.

Lester Earl:

Still stumped, although he obviously knows what he is doing. I love Votto, but not as the 15th overall pick when there are a shitload of 1B to be had. He probably could have gotten someone of similar value a few rounds later while landing a more solid option at 2B, 3B, or SS. I do like his OF and U spots though. Hawpe is underrated, and of course I love Rasmus. People don't understand what he is capable of hitting in the 2 hole in that lineup.

His pitchers all have potential. Worried about Santana's health (but he got good value with that pick), and guys like Chris Young and Volstad could surprise.

I would be an idiot to bet against a LE led team missing the playoffs, so I'm not gonna do it here either, even though I'm not a huge fan of this draft.
