i disagreed with the roster...it may be something we want to tinker with.
maybe add an OF spot or an extra U spot

for instance ESPN sometimes uses 1B/3B spot, or a 2B/SS spot, I dont know.
I'd just like to get one more active hitter onto the roster somehow. It sucks having to have to sit a good player or trade him that would otherwise rot on your bench, ya know?
kind of promotes drafting well

I also say we bump the total players to 31 or 32 depending on what we do.
I voted yes on the related poll question, but I was going to suggest fewer total players per team. It makes for a much better FA pool to work with.

I'll be getting my vote on tomorrow. Did see the 43 emails of crap to vote on, so I allocated two hours of my morning for this.

Looking at the Offensive cat voting, I think you can tell that the most popular cats are:
R, HR, RBI, SB, OPS
AVG is a thing of the past.

average is not a thing of the past, average makes fantasy players more equal in my opinion
ops skews the rankings in favor of power hitters

Also rewards the 20 HR guys that are patient at the plate. I honestly think the best cat is OBP that way AVG + BB count and HR isn't doubly rewarded.

most good hitters have good OPS though. If u are a good hitter, you are getting on base. So its at least half of the equation. they kind of go hand in hand
18 of the top 20 average hitters in MLB had OPS over .800
the league average is somewhere around .750

ichiro is a career .333 hitter with a career .81 ops
adam dunn is a career 250 hitter with a .9 ops
so no, they dont go hand in hand
