Question for those that drafted J. Finley

If you were like me, you were banking on this guy all year. I did not even have a back up TE on my roster... just assumed i would pick up a random on his bye week.
So how are you handling this on your team? who did you pick up? who is your backup? thinking of trading for someone? Anyone actually holding on to him incase he is back for the playoffs? As of right now i picked up Benjamin Watson for the week, clearly not a long term answer.

I traded for him two weeks ago. I didn't have a backup, just picked up Donald Lee. Hoping once some bye weeks come and go people will drop backup TEs. I'm gonna have to make a trade if not, I'm not starting Tony shefler(sp?) or Kevin boss every week for sure.

I was in the same position. I picked up Pettigrew from Detroit. His numbers are right there with Finley's. We shall see if he keeps it up though.

I wish Pettigrew was available, all that's left for me is Fasano, Scaife or Schefler. Hope someone drops a TE after this week

I traded him for zach miller and big ben the week before he got hurt. Lucked out for once when It comes to injury.

It hit me in all my leagues. Luckily I had already picked up Hernandez before the injury in two of my leagues and I had Keller in another. I should be okay unless one of them goes down.

I grabbed Hernandez the day the diagnosis came out. Luckily New England was on a bye and I dropped Brandon Tate and it didn't have to clear waivers. I was able to pick Tate back up from waivers.

i tried the same thing with tate, but hernandez was gone. so now i am stuck wtih basically no one.

Ridiculous, how many people in your leagues? TE is deep, there are guys available.
However, if you are in a 16-man league, and everyone has 2 TE's...keep an eye out on Michael Hoomanawanui.

Thanks for the heads up on hoomanawanui. i think i will add him just to see what he does.
Hernandez and Moaeki are both already taken. It's a 12 team league, but from some reason TE's are hard to come by.

I don't have a back up either. I picked up Owen Daniels for this week. I'm trying to trade but everyone in my league is an arse who won't trade.

Owen Daniels is a guy to watch and might be available.
