I know he tore his groin last year before the season even started. Is he supposed to be the go to guy for Houston this year? I've been trying to find articles on him because I know he used to have a rocket as a leg is he a safe guy to have in my K spot or should I pick up someone else?

I drafted him bc the top few guys were gone and he plays in a dome. I didnt really look into it very much. Now you've got me wondering.

08/27/2013 @ 3:32 pm - Has a strong leg and the Texans attempted 38 kicks last year with solid XPT totals so on the radar as WW pickup with job handed to him.

Randy Bullock hit all three of his field-goal attempts Sunday, including a 55-yarder. That left him six-for-seven in the preseason and made him feel “pretty good.”

“I didn’t think I hit the 55-yarder as good as I could have,” Bullock said, “but I still had plenty of leg. (The preseason) has gone well. I’m healthy. I’ve worked hard with the training staff. I’m very comfortable. If you can do it in practice, you can do it in a game. That’s the mindset I try to have.”

Bullock’s only miss so far was when he fell short on a 54-yard attempt at Minnesota.

Randy Bullock settling in after missing entire rookie season

Didn't watch the Saints preseason game so I didn't know this.

Randy Bullock has a huge leg. He is also deadly accurate. He was an All-American his senior year, and you can't go wrong with the Texans' kicker. Our redzone offense has always been bad under Kubiak. We run for three downs and kick field goals once we're inside the twenty.

The announcers actually kind of took note of him, that's why I remember who he is. So, to answer your question, he is indeed the guy, but still a kicker.

Good to hear, I almost forgot he was an Aggie. The torn groin had me worried for a bit but seems he's made a full recovery and his mortar leg is back.
