My nanny left me a house in a will and I had been deciding on fixing it up to rent and whatnot. I was finally able to go and check on it Sunday and it had over a foot of water go in. Loads of damage. Silver lining is that I needed to fix it up anyway.
The house I'm livin in currently, my moms and the rest of my family have had no damage. But so many have lost their stuff. It has been pretty terrible. We ended up on the lucky end. Can't imagine how stressful this has been for a lot of people.

Chest deep water just five miles down from my house. I am very, very fortunate. I feel awful for those affected.
