MFL IDP Redraft League Seeking 2 Owners (AFC/NFC Split Pools, Homer Rule)

Posted on 6/21/26 at 1:05 pm
The long-standing Fantasy Sharks NFL Challenge League on MFL is looking for two reliable owners to fill open franchises for 2026. We currently have 11 AFC and 11 NFC teams filled and want to return to 12 per conference.
Open teams from last season: Jaguars and Rams. But any unclaimed NFL team can be assigned to a new owner.
League Format:
Redraft, full IDP (DL/LB/DB)
20-man rosters
13-starter lineup
Must start one homer player each week
AFC/NFC use separate player pools
NFL-style playoffs (reseeding, conference championships, Super Bowl)
Extras:
Small entry fee (covers site)
Sand-dollar payouts
Optional Survivor Pool
Active offseason rule-change process
Looking for owners who stay active, set lineups, and enjoy IDP depth. Post here or message if interested.

So I would need to register and make several really wordy posts in order to have enough pretend money to play?
Love ya man, but I'm gonna have to pass on this one.

No people would donate the sand that’s not that big of a deal. I’d donate. I got more than ever used anyway.
The question would be whether you like IDP leagues or not.

I don't mind IDP leagues. Not a fan of free leagues.

A full IDP league with an AFC/NFC split pool sounds wild, and that weekly homer rule is a really cool twist.
Are the Jaguars and Rams rosters completely wiped for the redraft, or is there any draft position advantage tied to taking over those specific franchises? Either way, I'm definitely interested if you still have a spot open. Drop me a message with the details!

I've been on this site since 2004 in 3 leagues. This one is long standing.
Not pure IDP. Sorry for the confusion. You'd start 2 LBs/2 DBs/2 DLs.
You keep your homer team (mine is the Titans) each year, but it's an annual redraft. If interested I'd pay anyone's 'sand dollars' (they're just arbitrary amounts based upon your site activity). He does charge $6/year for maintaining the league/site costs. I pay league fee through PayPal.
Basically, they're looking for active, competitive owners for a 24-team redraft league with full offense and IDP. Two divisions (AFC/NFC), 13 starters, and deep 20-man rosters plus IR and Taxi spots. Lineups include QB, flexible RB/WR/TE, kicker, and full defensive positions (DL/LB/DB). Scoring runs Weeks 1–18 with decimal scoring and head-to-head matchups.
Waivers run multiple times weekly, trades require commissioner approval, and the draft uses a 12-hour timer. No keepers — fresh redraft every season — so everyone starts on equal footing. If you enjoy big-league strategy, IDP depth, and year-to-year parity, this is the perfect league to jump into.
If you win, you get "sand dollar" payouts for your account.
If interested, I'll let the commish know. Email is noleman98 at Gmail.com
