Tell Carson to postpone his surgery and we can get this thing rolling.

sheeeeeeeit man, that barely compares to what happened to me last summer.
I drove my truck to houston (I live in Monroe, so ~5-6 hours depending on traffic). My truck starts shaking really hard once I got off the interstate. I was there for a wedding. I get to my then gf's place and we take it to a firestone. They think it is a spark plug problem, easy fix and relatively cheap. Keep in mind I'ma poor arse grad student at the time raking in a whopping 600 bucks a month. Firestone calls me and says the engine is fricking done, nothing they can do.
I could not drive the truck back but I absolutely had to be back in monroe for a summer grad class I was taking at the time. I shell out 450 bucks for a plane ticket home. I have to get my dad to take me back down there the following weekend to tow it back using his truck and uhaul trailer. This had to be done in the same day because of his work schedule and my school schedule.
Luckily the firestone guys were fricking idiots and the truck was fixable, but it cost me around 1200 dollars and it took more than 6 months and 2 mechanics to actually find the problem and fix it.
your situation sucks with the new car and what not, but believe me, shite could be worse.
Oh, my gf at the time ended up fricking the firestone mechanic that initially told me it was unfixable. So....yeah

Foster hurt could require surgery. Glad we waited

I want to see how the guys over on CBSFFB podcast spin this. A lot of them were high on Foster.

I think that's a sign we should start. Him getting hurt is like the groundhog seeing his shadow

TLDR: truck broke in Houston, mechanic said it can't be fixed. Buys a plane ticket home. He's OT poor not Focker rich yet. Him and dad tow it back. It can be fixed. Mechanic that said it couldn't be fixed gave his ex a "tune up".

Apparently it took out my AC as well
Gonna be 1000 overall after insurance to fix.
Don't think I'm gonna use any text books this semester
