When I went to bed Murray had 24 points, but when I woke up he had 21. Why did he lose 3 points over night?

I am trying to figure out the same thing. Some things I see say he had 6 rec for 62 yards and others say 5 rec for 38 yards.

I have him too. I'm thinking they took away his catch and lateral and the end of the 1st half. It was for 24 yards. Don't understand why they took that away. I need all the points I can get.

Give me back my pernts!!!!?

The way the lateral reads looks like the points should have gone to Crabtree if it's last guy with the ball

naw, the first guy that catches the ball gets the yardage he makes. the players involved in the ensuing laterals get the yards they make.

I didnt see this play but reading the play by play from ESPN, it was 4th and 4 and the play resulted in a net gain of 5 yards. There were 2 penalties on Oakland on the play, thus negating the play and ending the half. It's weird cause the ESPN play by play says the penalties were declined, but if they were declined, they would have ran another play. SD isnt going to decline the penalties if they had gotten the 1st down

quote:

4th and 4 at OAK 46
(0:00 - 2nd) (Shotgun) D.Carr pass short right to L.Murray to SD 30 for 24 yards. Lateral to A.Cooper to OAK 46 for -24 yards. Lateral to D.Carr to SD 49 for 5 yards. Lateral to M.Crabtree to SD 49 for no gain (M.Te'o). Penalty on OAK-J.Feliciano, Illegal Block Above the Waist, declined. Penalty on OAK-G.Jackson, Ineligible Downfield Pass, declined

The ref makes the announcement to the stadium of both penalties and each being declined. He also says that is the end of the half. It is very confusing as to the stats for all players involved. Jim nantz even makes a point how he has crabtree on his fantasy team and crabtree has negative yards receiving as a result of the play.

Why does it matter if the play made a first down? The game doesn't continue if the clock runs out without a penalty on the defense.

The ref did not mention or motion 1st down. I think the result of the play would not have been a first down. I have seen in the past if there is an penalty on the offense at the end of the half, the half ends with no replay of the down.

I have seen stats change a few days after the games are finished. Us, Latavius owners feel short changed due to a lack of transparency and communication from the nfl.

Yea I'm just trying to see why the play would be cancelled and the only thing I can think of is they got a 1st down and somehow SD accepted the penalty and there was some confusion there even though the clock ran out
