I do it occasionally because I don't want to waste an add(my league has a 20 add limit) on a TE or K that will get a minimal amount of points. That add is more valuable than the player I'll only use once. However, I'm usually the favorite in my games and I can usually afford to play with a man down

There's nothing wrong with what he's doing.

I'm going to guess he's a lock for the playoffs and he's happy with what he has. Why drop players that he thinks will be valuable just because of 1 meaningless game?

Is this real life? If he wants to eat bye week players this week so he can dominate long term how can you stop him? If he was out of the running and giving the he was playing a layup into the playoffs it would be a problem.
