I want to get another SP...

I've got Lincecum and Chris Carpenter and would like to have a solid third. A guy in my league needs fielders. I'm trying to get Lackey from him, and he wants Troy Tulo in return. My backup SS is Miguel Tejada. His starting SS is Alcides Escober, who he says Tejada is better than. I'm trying to think of an even trade. Would I be better off trading Tulo straight up for Lackey and starting Tejada? Or should I offer both Tulo and Tejada in exchange for Alcides and Lackey?
I'm still kind of new at this so I don't know what's fair and what's completely moronic.

I wouldn't do either, but get Escobar if you're trading TT.

who are some guys on waivers??

Not shite. It's a 12 team league and that's the first thing I looked at. For 2010 projections, the first 4 that come up in FA are Cristian Guzman, Juan Uribe, Willie Bloomquist, and Edgar Renteria. I figured % owned would be a good indicator of them, and none are owned by more than 2% of leagues.

I can't get Lackey and Escobar for TT though, so I think I'd need to throw someone else in too.

i didn't metion tejada because that's a given. he is garbage.
i still wouldn't do it though.

I just looked at projected 2010 points, and Escobar and Tejada are virtually identical, so I guess I'll trade TT for Lackey straight up.

I wouldn't get rid of TT for a SP.
I'd stand put and work the waiver wire.
And I think Earl was asking what SP are on waivers

Well actually maybe I won't.

No it's not. And I think I might just keep my lineup and pick up an arm from waivers/FA now that I keep looking into it.

The best rated SP availabe is Joel Pineiro, who I've never heard of, but he's got some good projected numbers. Good pickup IYO?

Toula I told you man I'm new at this. Being naive about every player out there is just a given at this point!

all these dudes are pretty good. Chamberlain will start in pen prob, but he may be worth stashing.

he's decent, doesnt K too many, but his ERA will prob go up over 4 back in the AL.
he's always been pretty inconsistent.
on that list, im a big Ricky Romero fan. He'll prob start opening day for the Jays.
Cueto has a lot of upside as well.
