Wouldn't call this standard scoring. For a points league maybe, vast majority of baseball leagues are roto or straight head to head

Standard in the sense that it doesn't favor pitching or hitting any more than the other.

Your standard rankings will be fine. Just balance your pitching/hitting and you'll be fine. Some people don't like a points league but I enjoy it.

May be because I've played in points leagues the last few years and don't remember all the intricacies of a categories league but no way am I letting Matt Kemp/Cargo get into the 3rd round

I use to love baseball. Outside of the Braves, I dont follow as much anymore. At least I know I wont finish in last with you and TTT in the league.
