Do you collect weekly from members?
Or at the end of season?

What’s the average number of transactions per season for each team?

If it’s 25-30, just bump the entry fee by that amount.

PITA to collect again after the season.

$5 per trade or pick up.

Every team has to pre-pay an extra $75 at the start of the season. At the end of the season, we collect deficits or refund overpayments.

WORST IDEA EVER

ETA:
Let’s remove any possible fun between the draft and end of season by penalizing teams for enjoying fantasy football making moves

I do. 3 in fact

We’ve never had an issue hunting down transaction fees. But I don’t play with deadbeats

My league charges $1 per trade / add/drop. We collect it at year end as teams are eliminated from the playoffs. So at the beginning of the playoffs, all of the non playoffs teams need to pay. Most playoffs teams make enough to cover their transaction cost so I usually have collected everything by the end of the playoffs.

I have everyone pay their league fees before the draft. It is a pain to collect the transaction fees. Last year was the first time in 12 years someone didn't pay and they are out of the league now.

We put the transaction fees in a separate pot and it goes to the top 4 total points teams as of the end of the regular season.
