K smith and Torrey smith was great depth on your team IMO

so losing Bush and Greene, and looking at that trend, i will be working with Bush/Mendenhall at RB2 for half the season

quote:I absolutely hate Holmes in fantasy football to the point where I think there are better FAs out there right now than him. I'm the one doing what most owners hate to do. Giving up 1 stud for 3 fillers. That means I have to drop 2 people. Most FF owners hate taking on more players than they are giving in a trade. That should account for something here. I'll throw in L Blount as I would be dropping him to clear space on my bench
santonio holmes instead of garcon?

so WHEN k. smith gets hurt, i could be hurting more than if i had just rolled with Garcon and Greene.
Posted on 9/11/12 at 9:09 pm to drake20
I wouldn't say hurting more...same can be said about Reggie except if you keep Reggie, then you won't also have Mike Wallace on your roster.

me too
...not saying no to the original trade. still thinking, and throwing some new things out there

right, but i'm thinking maybe i'd be better off with the difference between Wallace and Garcon, starting Bush or Greene (if R. Bush gets hurt) than i would be starting M. Bush or Mendenhall (who i can't count on for anything) for half the season
...sorry for that sentence

I hate you. Why did you have to say that- now I am second guessing myself. K smith has been an absolutely beast the 2nd half of last year and coming into this year

Kevin smith was top 5 in fantasy when he was healthy, you know that?
Posted on 9/11/12 at 9:16 pm to drake20
You'd be surprised what gems you find on the WW midway through the season. If I recall, most of the rookies weren't drafted and they typically start doing better the 2nd half of the season should they get the opportunity.

This is what we call the 'Calvin Johnson Effect'
All the defenders letting Kevin Smith prance into the end zone untouched.

You will regret this trade man, Torrey smith will be a solid wr2 this year and k smith if healthy will be a machine

i'm trying to make it happen in my head...Foster and Smith starting, both injury prone, with nothing on my bench. makes me nervous.
the Blount experiment is over

Remember when they said Fred Taylor was injury prone...then he reeled off 5-6 16 game seasons in a row? Quit telling yourself they will get hurt. For all we know, those guys will play all 16 and guys known for durability such as MJD/Fitz will only play 8games. It is all really a crapshoot

alright, let's do it...i'm in
...any injuries could happen with anyone obviously, but you have to take it into consideration, imo. that's all i was doing
