pretty solid all around.

obvious deficiencies would be HR and Saves.

is it H2H or roto ?

would prob deal or drop a pitcher or 2 to add another bench hitter.

Lawrie, Francouer, and Melky have a lot to prove. Ellsbury probably wont have a season like last.

Might want to have a backup plan

That team is terrible for a 10 team league. 1st thing I notice is 0 closers. Lineup is very average. SP is a strength, but no enough to make up for the overall suckiness of the lineup.

Well, it's H2H. Besides Sean Marshall, I'm punting saves.

I had 9th pick overall, so I kinda screwed the pooch and have just a bunch of "average" guys.

Aybar was great value at shortstop, though!

I think it is sneaky.

Everyone in his lineup should approach 20 HRs. Weeks, Votton, Arencibia & Bruce should all hit 30 or be on the cusp. Lawrie is a wild card.

All but Arencibia should get 90+ runs.

He has a gluttony of base stealers. And none of them are 1 category guys. Though i wouldnt have Aybar in my starting lineup.

Could use improvement. But i think its solid. Id bet there are some decent sleeper hitters on the waiver wire right now.

Id dump 2 of the relievers for hitters more than likely. Adams and Benoit.

ETA: id definitely dump the relievers in the "P" spot if it is H2H.

You have enough really good starters to put in those spots throughout the week if needed

I was really hoping Desmond Jennings (TB) wasn't ranked as high as he was this year. He was my "sleeper" of choice, but he got taken.

Adams and Benoit are definitely weaker of the two relievers, however, their stat lines are just as good as the other guys.

Aybar, hitting before Pujols, should net 100 Runs and somewhere in the .280s, which definitely is nothing to sneer at.

you have enough steals, and not enough power. He's not a bad player, but he should only play when Rollins gets hurt.

THere is no point in keeping them in a H2H league. The majority of your pitching stats will come from the 18 starters you have that are eligible from the same slot.

in other words the impact of 2 relievers per week(5-7IPs?) will be engulfed by the near 25IP per week that you have sitting on your bench.

yeah, they are 2 good relievers. But you wont need them. You need some extra bench hitters.

OFs pretty solid, just not big on Weeks, Rollins or JP. All seem like low-end options in a 10 team format. Hell I like Aybow > Rollins this year.

You're right tho, I'm sure the waiver wire is stocked.

Weeks is a top 3-5 2B when healthy.

Rollins is a top 5 SS.

JP is boom or bust. But a decent catcher to have, even in a 10 team just given his power potential.

Give him some help them. I fail to see how it is awful. Just lacks top end power. There are prob 5 guys capable of hitting 30HRs on the waiver wire.

I like his hitters better than yours.

really though, your team is built similarly to the OP's.

I don't understand people drafting Maybin and Fowler as starters. I like those guys as bench guys, maybe 1 of them in a utility spot, but it just seems like they are overvalued and haven't really done anything of note.

With that being said, i like your bench. Though you have some unproven guys(Desmond, Lawrie, Montero, Kipnis, Trout,) these guys are hyped for a reason. But i wouldnt be surprised if at least 1 disappointed this year.

And i think your staff is strong. But no bench pitchers?

Very important.

Rollins top 5

Tulo, HamRan, Castro, Reyes, Andrus.. my top 5.

Then Asdrubal, Dee Gordon, Aybar, Rollins in no particular order. & that's if Rollins can stay healthy.
