Ryan was probably the safe play anyway. Giants are phoning it in, and he would have probably been rested after it's 28-0 at halftime.

He means his second half point production would have been limited because they probably wouldn’t have been throwing the ball.

I was thinking more that they would even bench him at halftime. No use risking it for a game you're gonna win anyway.
