Standard scoring, 10 team league, snake draft.

I typically run through a good amount of mock drafts at different draft positions to see how things could possibly pan out. I've noticed that no matter how I spin it, going WR/WR with the first two picks (if you're picking 8-10 range), yields you nothing in the way of RB's in the later rounds.

However, did one the other night and landed the below in rounds 1-6:

1 - D. Hopkins
2 - O. Beckham
3 - T. Hilton
4 - K. Drake
5 - D. Henry
6 - D. Watson

No textbook "stud" running backs, but I'm not terribly upset with Drake & Henry at the position with the 3 receivers I got.

What are the FSB's thoughts?

I'm not experienced with 12 team drafts, but that doesn't seem bad at all.

I had the 7th pick in a 12 team league
Antonio fell to me at 7 but then the rb value went to crap.

Got Michael Thomas and TY Hilton in round 2/3 then went on a barrage of mid tiers for 4-6 (drake/Ingram/Burkhead)

Going to need those wr’s to carry me in 1/2 ppr

I like that line up a lot. Especially if you have a rookie back on your bench for later

Damn, didn't think Henry could last until the 5th

Seems like some people feel they have to draft RBs early this season. Just take the best player and figure it out as you go. Points are points, whether they come from RB or WR

True, but I feel like the point differential between 1st/2nd round RB's versus later round RB's is much greater than the point disparity of WR's at those picks.

If you can find a diamond in the rough RB, then it works out. Otherwise you have a whole lotta nothing at the RB position.
