I wish every week could be Earl week.

was why I was so adamant for random generated scheduling.

Didn't want to face Earl the final week of the season again like I did last year.

He's been blanked twice now out of 5 weeks?

With nine home runs and 13 steals through 32 games, Altuve is on pace for the first 40/60 season in MLB history.

Not that I'd expect on him to reach either mark, but even a 25/50 season would be fantastic.

According to Jon Heyman of MLB Network, Jose Reyes' impending suspension is likely to be for at least 60 games.
Heyman notes that it could potentially be even longer than that, with 80 games considered a fair estimate. Reyes was arrested six months ago for alleged domestic abuse. It's a near certainty that his ban will exceed the 30 games that Aroldis Chapman received, and it now looks as though he'll miss at least half of the season. An official announcement is expected at some point this week.

I released this fgt so I don't care from an ISP perspective.

I am curious why his suspension would be more than Chapman's though.

1. As a pitcher, 30 games is far less than 30 games for Chapman.

2. Reyes has already sat out over 30 games

3. Chapman shot a fricking gun during his DA squabble.

Have they ever explained why Reyes deserves more time?

I guess because Reyes actually laid the smack down with visible injuries. Chapman's lady had no visible injuries and all he did was shoot up a trash can, which is pretty fricking bizarre behavior but apparently not illegal in Florida.

In both cases charges were dropped, so there's nothing from that end.

I don't even think charges were filed against Chapman.

Whereas they were against Reyes and there was a solid case. Mysteriously the woman stopped cooperating and quit talking to the cops. Just screams of a nice, little settlement outside the courts.

Upon review, that is correct, although it's because the girlfriend and other witnesses refused to cooperate at the scene instead of just waiting until later.

It was his wife....I'm sure she realized his career was in jeopardy so she dropped charges.

Yeah, if she presses charges and he's arrested and has what's left of that monster contract completely nullified, she's losing out on millions too.
