Of course I sat all three of them today with Max on the mound.

Watching him pitch just makes baseball better. Santander's first jack was down and in 3 inches off the plate. Scherzer got so pissed bc it wasn't like he just left it hanging.

Goes on to strike out the next two batters in the inning on 8 pitches, ramping up his FB from 92-93 to 95.

Fun to see a pitcher ready to attack and challenge himself. Makes you appreciate it when your next game to watch has Robbie Ray hurling 95 from the left hoping it makes it in the zone.

Shane Bieber has struck out 54 batters through his first five starts, the third most by any pitcher in the modern era, with only Nolan Ryan (59 K's in 1978) and Randy Johnson (55 in 1999) having fanned more batters in their first five starts of a season

Thought the same after reading the article this morning.

And is it really smart for him to put his job on the line v. Clevinger and the best pitcher in Cleveland?

I was looking to see where Josh Lindblom’s 14.3 K/9 ranked among SP. He was 3rd behind Glasnow and Bauer. Bieber was 4th.

Seeing Bieber there pissed me off more than being impressed at Lindblom because I still kick myself for saying, “Yeah, he doesn’t walk anyone and gets a ton of ground balls...but that 8 K/9 won’t play up in the big league.”

The Rays should call up Nate Lowe with the shite production we’ve gotten from Choi thus far, but we’ve won 8 of our last 9, so

The White Sox are going to die with the corpse that is Edwin Encarnacion instead of calling up their No. 3 overall pick

While I was taking a shite this evening I decided to take a gander into MWGs lineup, ya know a daily doing of mine. I want to make a complaint about his lineup to the powers that be. He has Franklin Barretto chilling at 2B who has logged a whopping 5 ABs all year, Edwin Rios on the IL and Reddick and Yordan Alvarez in his starting lineup and they aren’t starting (my the horror). I think we need to get this tightened up because if he ends up with the 1st pick he clearly doesn’t deserve it. Proceed as need be please.

Well, in his defense, he isn’t leaving players that are starting on his bench. I did some digging. You went through a two week stretch without doing anything to your lineup. I don’t think MWG can ever be accused of being a lazy owner in this league.

Oh well if he wants to come on here and constantly spew BS, he clearly could’ve put Rios on IL and picked up a starting OF for tonight. Do as I say, not as I do. Got it.

Also, I’ve never been accused in 5 years of being a lazy owner.

He got placed on the IL 45 min ago.

ETA: he also already has the max players on his IL.

ETA2: not changing your lineup for two weeks straight qualifies to be a lazy owner.

Clearly can’t spy a troll.

2 weeks out of 5 years and I’m all of a sudden some lazy piece of shite owner. It’s not like this isn’t a screwed up MLB season at all and different from any season EVER. Y’all were just itching to play this league under any circumstances this season.
