Chonkus told us who he was drafting

Are we starting after the SB or whenever all the $ paid?

Problem: Every year we do the same song and dance. Set a draft date, wait for owners to pay, half of the owners get impatient, the other half wait to pay the last minute.
Solution: Since everyone is technically squatting on their team and payment from the last year but still allowed to make transactions, just institute a roster lock date two weeks prior to the draft on teams that haven't paid.
It doesn't guarantee impatient owners a draft any time sooner or that everyone will pay before the draft date, but it might encourage someone like me to stop drag-assing and pay so I can make some moves.

I'm usually one of the first to pay, but I want to experience what it's like to be one of the last this year. So has the draft been set?

The draft is scheduled to start Monday, following the Super Bowl
Last year the draft started the Friday before the Super Bowl (all but two people had paid)
Tomorrow is the Friday before the Super Bowl (9 people have not paid)

The draft date is set, pay before the draft start-time or you lose your draft picks...I don't think more has to be done or said.

Let's do it like the nfl....if your draft slot comes up and you haven't paid, you get skipped and next guy up can draft

If the draft starts on Monday morning, I don't see what the big deal is. I'm sure everyone will pay by then.

You mos that arent paying are just being difficult.

We could start tomorrow if everyone paid up

This is full fricking retard. Penalizing people for doing nothing wrong? I realize that you and I are both in this group.
How about we just set a date (the Monday after the Super Bowl as always) and just stick to it. If people still haven't paid by that date, then we have an issue.
I have a full day orientation at my new job on Monday, but I will have picks lined up and can check in whenever possible.

Also, just paid... don't want to have to worry about that on Monday.
Posted on 1/30/20 at 7:23 pm to LSUBoo
Don’t sweat it. People start getting antsy every year at this time.

I'm not sweating a thing... just know that I won't be readily available on Monday.
New employee orientation from 8 to 4:30... what the frick is that. I am not working at the NSA.

100% Agree.
I don’t think we’ve ever had problems with someone not paying by the agreed upon draft date.
I usually pay when I feel like paying on a date that’s before the set date. But we’ll just continue to go through the cycle of hearing impatient people bitch. Just trying to make everyone happy. Won’t make two shits to me to go through this again next year.
