I don't see a problem. He can still add the player if he drops someone whose game hasn't started today. Otherwise, wait until the last game of the day starts and then do it.

On a similar note, the trade I just made with Redd made my lineup illegal for today, since the guy I'm dropping already had a game start.
None of the players involved in the trade or being dropped are on active 25-man rosters, but I guess I'll need a commish / the committee to allow my violation to be overridden.

I can do a manual legalization of your lineup today in a few seconds as long as nobody else has an issue with it. We've done it in the past on situations like this.

Gyno, I emailed support about this and got a BS response. I'm not sure what to do. It's definitely a pain in the arse though.

Nothing in the deal affects my active lineup for the day, since neither player traded and the one dropped are all on the DL or Minors.
It does affect my matchup though, which could potentially affect others in this league.
