Per @jonmorosi, a potential trade sending J.T. Realmuto from #Marlins to #Phillies is "gaining momentum" and the names of Jorge Alfaro and the Phils' top two prospects -- Sixto Sanchez & Alec Bohm -- have been discussed.

There is finally some legit progress on a Realmuto deal on my end. Most importantly, I am expecting him to be traded today.

If they get realmuto, I expect Harper right afterwards. They are apparently buddies. The NL East is going to be brutal this year.

Based on the extreme risk of Sixto Sanchez actually becoming a 200 IP pitcher, I wouldnt lose a wink of sleep including him in a deal for Realmuto

TFW you thought you were drafting 1 Marlin but might end up having 2.

No Machado or Harper*
And I like the Mets at full health, I think they could win that division if harpers stays out of it

NL east looks super competitive. Braves have just kinda sat on their hands too

Seriously? I didn't look through the full 100. Just my team.

You’ll be fun to watch in the event of a 3rd or 4th place Brave finish
Posted on 2/7/19 at 2:09 pm to GynoSandberg
The NL Central is gonna be fun.
1. Brewers
2. Cards -3
3. Cubs -7
4. Reds -8
5. Pirates -8
Edit: DRC+ is just for hitting.

I mean they got kris Bryant projected as the 26th best hitter behind the likes of Gary Sanchez! and Javy Báez

I think the Braves should have done more too, but adding Donaldson is at least something.

replacement level value adjustment
and
Bryant
91 23 75 3 0.376 0.473
Sanchez
77 29 86 2 0.333 0.469
Baez
95 27 79 12 0.322 0.47
I'd imagine the RL 3B/OF would be closer to Bryant's stats than a C or SS would be to Sanchez and Baez.

The Cubs have a core of players that won a World series 3 years ago.

The problem lies in the projections themselves I reckon
His 3 year avg prior to last season was
106 31 91 .388 .527
And he was pacing another MVP type season before the shoulder last year
Healthy projections for guys w 1 good year but Bryant has mvp votes in 3 years and gets those projections

Brewers passed you by and you answered with Descalso. The NL Central is going to be a grind and the Cubs did nothing. Would not surprise me to see the Cardinals win the division.
Posted on 2/7/19 at 2:58 pm to RollDatRoll
how have the Brewers passed the cubs by?
unless Yelich is going to be Ted Williams over a whole season, and Aguilar and Cain have career years ago, i dont see it
