That's a no on Correa. Probably Altuve as well.

Lol. I thought you were talking about Muncy, not Scherzer.

I have no use for a 34 year old. My bad.

at all the people telling me no who’ll be closer to a CQQ than an MWG in 2 years when Max would still probably be their 1st or 2nd best SP.

That’s why I haven’t engaged with but one non-playoff team.

remember, Verlander was sold on this same premise but actually looked like he was slowing down

Scherzer has a ton of value. I’m not disputing that.

Hard to get full value in this type of league though.

It’s actually been very nice talks with everyone. Every stud hitter I’ve checked in on I’ve tried to offer Scherzer plus knowing his age and how this league values pitching.

I’m just going down my list of players I’d want, trying to find someone who can use him.

Well you can start by eliminating OMT, cwill, and earl. They are afraid to win.

Chat isn’t afraid to win, but I don’t know if he’s in a position to make that move.

Giraffe is already strong on the pitching side, and everywhere else.

Mwg doesn’t need to make that move.

You have obviously already had talks with Barry.

That leaves RDR and papz. Go get em.

You’re about 85% on the mark from the work I’ve put in and how I saw some of them. I’m tempted to go back at barry.

One of them will always try to get good players no matter what.

It has been like asking my wife what she wants for dinner. “Whatever. Just let me know. Nah, not that.”

Has nothing to do with that crazy logic. Has more to do with the number of trades you’ve made in this league since it began. You are afraid to win. Everyone knows that.

You barely even log on, despite having a loaded team. You’ve got a winning lottery ticket, and refuse to cash in.

If you don't have at least a counter, then I'll have to agree.

but I will say you have been very responsive so far in declining

Whatever dude. Considering all the leagues we’ve been in together, I don’t really know where you’re coming from with all this other than being hurt by the porcello rejection.

I think I have the fifth best team in the league.

OMT
Sandy
RDR
Papz all better

Lumped in with Barry, Goodfellas and yourself, IMO. ETA: forgot Chatty in this group. His offense has taken a dip.
