Every single time Ive come in these threads and hyped a prospect. They normally end up pretty good. I remember people in here laughing at me when I said Albies was going to be a beast.

I’ll actually agree with you AND I’ll start to admit I was wrong on Albies if he can hit 20 HR in a full season.

It’s not worth hyping a non top 25-30ish ranked prospect here. Few people buy in on these guys until they prove it...or MWG picks them up in FA.

Judge, Hoskins and Albies are good examples.

I need to see more but I probably won’t be hyping a few of my guys i like so far like I did Hoskins, not worth it.

That just means he'll be on waivers in two days.

Yeh I’m out too

I really want to tell the league about what Mac Williamson is doing. Third overall in entire MiLB in wOBA, slashing 500/593/1.045 for a 1.638 OPS. This coming on the heels of a swing change ( ) in which he shined in ST with a 721 Slug.

Not going to mention Mac and his bust out potential at all.

Not bad, would be more impressive coming from a position like catcher; say what Tom Murphy is currently doing with his 1.542 OPS.

More people in this league “buy in” on unproven potential in this league than they do in proven guys

For every “hit” there are 3 guys who were pimped that fizzled

And albies ain’t proved shite yet tbh

Striking out a bunch as a teenager in full season ball is far from unusual. Eloy Jimenez had a high K rate as a 19 year old as well. I've cut Trey Mancini and Estevan Florial because they struck out too much. Striking out is overrated if you're productive.

With that said, I have no expectations regarding Seuly Matias. If he makes more contact, he could be very interesting. If he doesn't, he's just one on long list I'd just replace him with.

He’s asking about walks tho papz

And guy like Mancini stlll doesnt walk much, he’s still in “prove it” mode I think
