Wow. No Duvall on opening day. May be on the wrong side of a platoon with Schebler?

You're gonna see a four way platoon out there this year. They really like Winker, and with good reason. Duvall will see plenty of ABs, but they will definitely be playing matchups. Gotta get those lefties in against Scherzer.

Lotta these guys becoming like a RBBC in fantasy football. The splits are so drastic

I don’t mind it tbh, at least you know when to fire em up w some confidence

Can some clarify something for me?

When adding a guy with no MLB experience to your starting lineup, does he have to be on the 40 man roster or starting lineup?

Edit:
quote:

b) Minor leaguers can NOT be on the active roster until they are called up to the major leagues.

Doesn't specify if in starting lineup or not.

The way it's worded, I would think if someone gets the call to the 25-man active roster, you can move them to your active roster.

If he gets sent back down without any action though, you'd need to move him to a Minors spot.

I know when someone has been called up in the past, it's legal to put them in your lineup before they actually get into a game... although usually that means they are in that day's lineup.

That has to be wrong. Redd said Happ will play everyday and get 600 at bats.

Scherzer is so in control when he’s out there. I need a pitcher like that.

Polanco’s swing looks different. He’s driving the ball with a lot of authority. He might have a monster season coming.

If a player moves position in middle of game, does that count as a GP with new position?
