Frankly, I fail to see how trading a 30 yr old middling OF for 2 promising upside youngsters is a bad deal.

Eh, whatever, the trade is so low level on both ends. I still think he did ok for an injury prone, and at this point, pedestrian 30 yr old OF. Too much value is being placed on the name and the past.

I don’t think it’s lopsided at all. Just baseing it on name value.

And I believe MWG when he says he wouldn’t have done the deal with Pirela. They probably put up similar numbers this year.

It’s not so much the names in the trade as it is they were both on waivers. And I’m not even upset. This league needs guys like Daryl in it. That’s the type of move that proves he’ll always just contribute to the pot but never win it.

I was 1st in the regular season 1st year. Ive had better teams than you most years in this league on paper but have been destroyed by injuries. Just be thankful for injuries and me starting over now. Youre just talking to just talk. Focus on your squad dude.

An entire regular season vs. someone getting lucky one week against me.

Moving on though, trying to get some things done.

I didn’t mean to question his honesty when I asked just to put that out there.

I would have wanted Pirela instead of Franchy so I was just curious.

This is a wisey tactic. Dude just added “value” to Pirela’s name by operating under the guise that he wouldn’t deal em

It’s like these dudes don’t want em when they’re FA but you get a nice stat blurb or a gif and then they google em and bam they’re sold

I ain’t hatin just mad it never works for me. I couldn’t even get a mikolas bite!

I was asked a question

Quit over analyzing.

All I said was Pirela is 28, coming off a strong year in AAA while also proving it at the MLB level (23 HRs, 12 SBs in 130 games). That he’s likely to add 2B eligibility to his already OF profile (and hopefully 3B in due time), while hitting either 2nd or 5th in the lineup.
