These are in a random order. All thoughts are my own. MiLB isnt considered as this was a snap shot on this coming season, even though some guys will make impacts. Tried to say something nice/bad about everyone, some were harder than others.

My Personal Power Rankings for 2018

1. papz
2. MWG
3. OMT
4. Earl
5. swamie
6. Chat
7. RDR
8. LE
9. barry
10. Dirt Dawg
11. Cwill
12. Boo
13. ttown
14. Rondo
15. Redd
16. DJ
17. CQQ
18. Deebz
19. knat

TBH, 1-13 has a shot at the playoffs. Think there is a nice gap after that between contenders and rebuilders.

1. Gyno
2. Chat/Swamie

And I agree there’s 13 to 14 teams with a legitimate shot at the playoffs. Should be one of the most competitive seasons to date... barring someone selling really early of course.

I have Earl as the sleeper team to face Gyno in the finals. I think he makes the maybe 2 trades he needs to get there during the season. I think Redd’s team is better than he even thinks it is for this year. A couple of vet bats(just for guaranteed production) and I think he can sneak in and get lucky.

I would’ve had Redd higher if I knew he would try and compete. He has some pieces

I went back and forth on Chat - i wondered if Dickerson, Duvall, Smoak, Marwin can all repeat. Pitching wise you got Thor and Kluber but can Salazar and Tanaka rebound from 4+ era? There will be pieces added but i did have some questions there. Still bonafide playoff

I’m not ruling out making a run if I see what I’ve got with some of these young guys when they get called to the show. Gonna have to move some pieces for RPs if I go for it though.

so many people say “I watched a few episodes, but couldn’t get into it.” This is a show that requires immersion from the get-go in order to make it work for a viewer. That is its strength, its power, and its ability to have such a long afterlife

I can see that now.

The first 5 or so episodes aren't captivating on their own but definitely laid the groundwork. Just takes getting to episode 7+ to get paid off

I love the character arcs in that show. I can't really go into detail about it though since you haven't finished.

Your bread and butter are the prospects ya?

But Cargo and Lomo don’t have teams and are hard to assess. Then I just don’t know what to expect of Kipnis, Franco, Dejong, Avisail, Cargo, Lomo, Tulo - lotta ????? If I knew we were getting those guys best MLB season type #s then we could be on to something. I’d bet dejong, avisail, and Lomo regress a bit. Then Cargo Kipnis and Tulo need to play 150 G. Need a lot to go right

That said, I like Nola, and the potential is there for Flaherty, Faria, Matz and Walker. You could have a decent, young rotation. I actually like Butcher, Greene and Treinen a lot too. So pitching has some potential

I'm surprised there aren't regulations for every ballpark to store balls at the same conditions to keep it consistent.
