I'd like one more SP. If anyone sees something, let me know. I'll look and send out some offers if/when I get the chance.

Well after doing my farm system rankings today, you certainly have room for some draft picks.

Rankings are based on total points accumulated by the prospects. Points come from a ranking system of a guy that I've followed quite awhile and he hits much more often than he misses. He is usually a year or two ahead when it comes to ranking up and coming guys. His rankings are fantasy-based, not IRL MLB based.

The team rankings can be considered flawed, because Team A with 8 prospects ranked between 40-80 could theoretically be ranked above Team B with 4 top 20 dudes and nothing else. I would prefer owning Team B, but whatever. This is just for fun anyway.

I'll start with #20...

#20 CQQ - 795 pts

Number of ranked prospects: 5
Top Prospect: 1B Dominic Smith
Upcoming Draft: 1.10, 2.10

CQQ scores low partly due to many of his minor leaguers being ineligible for the prospect lists anymore (Reed, Mondesi, Thompson, Kim, Manaea). There's a significant gap between his top prospect, Smith, and the next one on the list (156 spots to be exact). Its a deep draft, so he can add two solid pieces with the 10th and 30th pick overall.

#19 Boo - 1204 pts

Number of ranked prospects: 4
Top Prospect: Phil Bickford
Upcoming Draft: 1.2, 2.16

Like CQQ, Boo has no prospects ranked in the top 50. While I prefer Vlad Guerrero Jr over Bickford as his top prospect, Guerrero is years away from contributing to his team. I do like Oscar de la Cruz a good bit, and Teoscar is a little intriguing. He will land a future stud at 1.2 in the upcoming draft.

#18 OMT - 1671 pts

Number of ranked prospects: 5
Top Prospect: Gleyber Torres
Upcoming Draft: 1.9, 2.9

This is what I was talking about in my earlier post. I think this farm is much better than the #18 overall, but it is very top-heavy. Four Top 50 prospects, led by Torres, Espinoza, Honeywell, and O'Neill. He also has Schwarber and Urias in his minors currently, but they are no longer eligible to be ranked. If OMT finds a way to add a couple more strong arms, I'll be scared to death of this team for years to come.

#17 Lester Earl - 1770 pts

Number of ranked prospects: 8
Top Prospect: Isan Diaz
Upcoming Draft: 2.17

Lester has a lot of ranked guys, but none of them are currently considered upper-echelon. (four in the top 100, but none in the top 50). Diaz has been getting a good bit of hype lately. That was a strong pickup that LE made last offseason. Should payoff in a couple of years. Not much to look forward to with the 37th overall pick, but he might be able to get something useful.

He isn't using your prospect rankings. It is some other guy.

#16 DJ30 - 1771 pts

Number of ranked prospects: 9
Top Prospect: Dylan Cease
Upcoming Draft: 1.8

DJ edges out LE for #16 by a single point. DJ has two top 100 prospects, and then a good bit of fluff. Cease should be a good one in a couple of years. 1.8 will yield a nice youngin' as well.

#15 Knat - 1889 pts

Number of ranked prospects: 8
Top Prospect: Jeff Hoffman
Upcoming Draft: 1.4, 1.19, 2.4, 2.8

A common denominator among the teams at the bottom: little to no Top 50 prospects. Knat also fails to land one on the list. His top prospect, Hoffman, did little to impress during his call-up last year. Colorado can do that to a kid. Beyond that, he has a few more top 100 guys in WIlliams, Toussaint, and Banda. Knat has a ton of picks this year, with 1.4 sure to land a blue-chipper.

Hoffman has good stuff. If he learns to pitch at altitude, he could be underrated.

No doubt, and I got some shite for drafting Vlad Jr. last year.

I also have two prospect ineligible guys taking up spots.

Nope, totally going to blow it.
