BOGO in that deal as he had no use to me. Sent him to a team that couldn't hurt me.

He's been better than miggy

Is Napoli our Duda?

Are we just gonna have to throw him in with a Taylor just to get a deal done?

T idk if anyone adds a Napoli if you dropped him. That OBP is a tough one to swallow and he ranks 35th in R and 31st in RBI among eligible 1B on Fantrax. The numbers just dont work as far as someone needing him at 1B or UTIL

Taylor is nice, why not just keep him?

Need a thing ruling on DeJong.

Doesn't walk, but hitting around .300 helps make it palatable.

I dropped him in TDBL a week or two ago thinking there is no way, no how he keeps it up. Hasnt happened yet but it's coming. He's comparable to ryon healy - may string you along a bit, but then crash. The progression ladder would go

Healy worst case
Matt Davidson w/ a tad more patience
Gyorko/Story type with real adjustments

I watched him vs the Cubs, he def has pop. Seems like he could figure it out. He's aggressive, no doubt. Seemed to ambush a bunch of 1st pich FBs

Nice work mate. I haven't been keeping up lately except to set my lineups. Need to watch a Cards game when Kelly, DeJong, and Bader start

47.5% of his balls in play are over 95+ MPH (saw a screenshot on Twitter).

There is almost no way to keep that up, but if he keeps hitting the shite out of the ball, he can buy himself time to improve his K's and, more importantly, his lack of walks.

That's what I heard about how all or nothing he is.

Twitter also says this

quote:

Paul DeJong has 12 HR since he returned to #STLCards on June 15. Only one player in majors has more HR in that span: Giancarlo Stanton (15)

Dilson Herrera underwent surgery to remove bone spurs from his right shoulder.
That'll be a wrap for his 2017 season. Herrera didn't make a single appearance in the majors this year and he registered an underwhelming .264/.312/.397 batting line over 68 games for Triple-A Louisville. The former top-100 prospect will try to get his career back on track in 2018.

Isn't there some sort of pissing match going on about this guy?
