It's the same offer you rejected multiple times during the off season.

I rejected it one time. Fact. And I only had two viable OF at the time. Fact.

And if I'm in first with that dude out up to 12 weeks, I take that deal in a nanosecond.

I didn't even get a counter. Lol.

People forget how much money you get in this league for finishing first in the regular season. It's worth way more than winning the title.

Freeman for Springer. It's right out there in the open.

That's a tempting offer but he'll be fine without Freeman. Too many easy weeks in this league this year

I'll bet anyone in the league that he loses first place money if he keeps freeman.

You rejected it twice officially. That is a fact. A third time unofficially in just chatting.

I have a plethora of first baseman to manage Freeman's loss at 1B/UTIL. I've been fortunate enough to get off to a fast start which allows me to not make rash decisions and become shortsighted in what I'm trying to build.

When the time comes, if I need to make a deal, I will not be shy in moving assets to acquire what I need... which includes Freeman.

And let's not kid ourselves, a George Springer not stealing bases, which he hasn't been for well over a year, isn't on the same level as Freeman anymore. I'm actually really glad you made those rejections. Don't be butt hurt because you missed out on your opportunity to have him.

Do you redd... I'll figure out something when the time comes. Thanks for trying to do me a favor.

Well considering how strong some of the other teams are, way to go on the limb there. I'd bet against my team... the odds would be in my favor.

Why would I lie about that? I thought you were crazy for rejecting especially since you were looking for a young stud first baseman and had monster OF prospects who were on the verge of coming up to the big leagues. I said that much sending you those offers.

oh im not saying you are lying. I certainly could have. But again, I was unsure of my OF sitch, and I do recall telling you that I might regret rejecting.

Fast forward to today, you are getting nothing from freeman for the next 10-12 weeks, when you could have a productive Springer (let's not kid ourselves, hes fricking good) inserted right into that lineup to secure big money.

Moving on, Im drunk as balls now after getting a hole in one and having to buy a ton of drinks.

If anyone wants to deal, hit me up.

Springer isn't going to secure me first place. If I felt a bat was going to do that, Josh Donaldson would already be on my team.

A bat will not help my team pitch better.

Youll be in DJ30 territory in no time with that mindset.
