I'm leaning more to thinking that IP is a shite category. FIP was the way to go, but it wasn't super popular when we started the league.

We can't change it at this point. I was just looking at some shite earlier and thought FIP would be interesting because it focuses only on HR, K, and BB.
And i dont see why its not ok to have two ratios in hitting when we have three ratios in pitching (ERA, WHIP, K/9)

totally agree about FIP if it replaced ERA. I get the argument against IP. I like that there is a strategy involved in it even though it largely rewards bad pitching weeks.
Never really saw a good replacement suggestion.
