Yeah, 15. Let's wrap it up. What was supposed to be a fun, light, informative/research opportunity

Every one of my picks, save Miles Austin had a write up and was informative.

I too wanted this to be "fun, light, informative"...but people joined this mock with a frick it attitude..."just gimme ____"

I'll quote what you said:

quote:

It would be cool to get knowledgable people who can explain their picks and teams as you go. Then we could use the mock as a reference point to people who have draft questions on the board. "So and so went here in the mock" etc. i

Also we could track it during the season and see how the teams fare.

Would need people who would take it somewhat serious and are as bored as I am.

Who takes shite more seriously than I?
Would you say that I did not follow the stated guideline and purpose?
Would you say that everyone followed the stated guideline and purpose?

Yet, I am the bad guy

You followed every rule. Except you didn't take into account the biggest one: SLOW DRAFT. As in does not move fast. As in no time limit. As in its a free mock draft in late July.

You're incessant bitching and moaning seemingly turned off many participants. Everyone was doing write ups and analysis until you derailed the thread. Then people said frick it.

I pick Brandon Pettigrew.

QB Peyton Manning
RB Jamaal Charles
RB Steven Jackson
WR Mike Wallace
WR Reggie Wayne
TE Vernon Davis
RB/WR/TE Mike Williams

D Seattle

B Denarius Moore
B Bernard Pierce
B Justin Blackmon
B Brandon Pettigrew
B

Monster of a man that I hope will see some looks. Expecting to see Stafford rebound on his TDs a bit.

perhaps you didn't pick up on the subtlety of others:

quote:

Progressing nicely
Great idea, idiot

quote:

I don't know if I have the patience for this, I'm dead at work today

quote:

Same here. This dude really took the wind out of my sails.

quote:

YOU'RE ON THE CLOCK!

quote:

What an a-hole.

quote:

I'll give him 5 min

quote:

Think slow draft to these guys means log in once a nigh

quote:

If this doesn't speed up a little I'm out...

quote:

GYNO, what in god's name are you doing?

quote:

I wonder if I'll get my 2nd pick tonight sheesh

quote:

quote:

This better be a hell of a write up

quote:

fricking pick so I can get mine out the way.

quote:

Whose pick is it?

quote:

Can Toula pick for Dan?

quote:

It would be awesome if he picked a guy who's already been picked and went to bed. "Eh frick it, mock draft, yeah Fitz sounds good here. That should do it until tomorrow."

quote:

Annnnnd, he's logged out

I'll stop here, but this is just up to round 3

Perhaps it's not the bitching then. Perhaps it's you... For instance, you took the time to quote all of those things.

This was said regarding picking someone already picked, just before logging off for the night. Don't lump me in with your little slap fight; I'm still having a good time selecting.
