OBUDan Selects:

Arian Foster, RB, Houston Texans

PPR maven, lead dawg, all around gentleman. Really, the only choice here. He does it all. Some worry about his dipping YPC, but at this point you pick this guy until he quits doing it.

In how many weeks did Doug Martin's point total rank in the top 12 scoring for RBs?

Meaning, how consistent was he in being a top fantasy RB?

Would've liked for Arian to have fallen to me, but Charles is a no brainer for me right here. Rice is a tremendous RB, and his consistent TDs and catches are attractive, but I've always been part of the yardage camp. I think JC is capable of 1800-2k, given the opportunity, and I'm going for the home run.

Well frick giraffe. I thought top 24 was pretty broad for a top 3 pick.

I dunno if Foster is top 3 pick worthy. There's a lot of other "sexier" picks, Doug Martin being the main one right now.

Guys like Spiller and Charles will always draw attention because they are so explosive.

Ray Rice is kinda the 2b to Foster's 2a, IMO. But the loss of some offensive weapons may make things tougher on him, whereas the Texans drafted Nuk, which should open up their passing game.

Playing it safe with Ray Rice but he's still a PPR beast. Considered Megatron here but Rice over the other backs (Spiller, Trent, Lynch, McCoy) is the safest play.

RB heavy early on.

SDv is next. Never really seen him post here except for the thread that kind of spurned this idea

I'll give him 5 min

consistency in a PPR is his +3 catches per game....you go in knowing that you got 6 as a floor

he's ray rice the past few years, even run stuffed will be a decent day
