I do that in another league I'm in.
It helps the better team win and overcome a fluky week for the other team or a bad week from your team.
But I think if we do it we need to make it only 4 playoff teams and 4 weeks. 6 weeks is taking too much away from the regular season.

This guy just needs to remember to change some things.
Like start scoring in week 1.. not week 2.

yea i was thinking it kind of cuts into the reg season too, but if i'm at the bottom of the league i'm prob ready for it to be over w/.

Here are some of my opinions on league settings:
Snake draft.
5x5 head to head league (I just find each week to be more exciting).
C,1B,2B,3B,SS,OF,OF,OF,U,SP,SP,RP,RP,P,P,P,B,B,B,B,B,DL,DL. However, I think anywhere from 3-5 bench spots is fine.
4 teams make the playoffs, but I am not sure about the playoff format (maybe one week semis, two week finals) and how deep into the regular season we should go.
Start the league with opening day.
Let me schedule the draft time.
Should we use our TD screen names for this league?

we now have a 4 team playoff and opening week is the start.
I don't want to mess with the roster much. If you add more to the bench then there is crap let if you have to replace a player. However I can see taking away some of the Pitchers to make their more quality to go around.
And the draft date is a little flexible. If you have a date in mind run it by me and lets see. It has to be on the weekend and in the afternoon
Also I like the Ideal of using TD id's so everyone will no who is who.

any league needs to go atleast 80 starting pitchers deep. so 7/8 pitchers would probably be better plus 2 RP or so

I kinda like the idea of using TD user id's as team names although "bust her posey" might very well be the best team name I have ever seen.

What we could do about the team names is have a name like Bust Her Posey as the team name and our TD screen name as our team slogan.

I have no idea what the best options are as far as league settings since I've only played fantasy baseball one time about 4-5 years ago.
I play fantasy football every year, so I figured this should be fun.

unless there are any better suggestion, I believe we will keep the settings as they are. I don't like have to many players on the bench when if someone loses a player and has to pick up a scrub. If anything I could drop a pitcher to make there more quality pitching to go around.
