So I'm joining a Dynasty league this year. 12 team $100 buy in.
I've played fantasy football for many years, but I've never played in a keeper league before.
This is the first year of this league.
There will be a 25 round draft.
At the end of the season, 25 players will be locked. 5 round rookie draft will take place in off season bringing roster to 30 players. Each following season, teams will cut 5 and keep 25, then draft 5 rookies to make 30.

Any help/websites used/advice on drafting a keeper team of this type would be greatly appreciated. Botching a redraft sucks, but it's a 1-year suckage. Botching this would be a ball a chain of suckage for years to come

I'd steer clear of aging vets a la Colston, Reggie Wayne, marshawn Lynch unless they come at great value.

Id try and lock in a Luck or Cam or Kaep or steal ah RG3 later. Matt Ryan could be great value

I'm not huge on guys like Lacy bell or ball but they could give you a solid foundation at RB going forward. Christine Michael would be a good stash.

WRs are pretty loaded as far as young talent. Outside of the obvious older guys, you can't really go wrong. I really like Cordarelle Patterson. Id find a way to get him

I wouldn't get too caught up with the dynasty aspect. The goal is still to win. Build a solid squad and pluck some high ceiling guys that could pay off down the road as you go.

Sounds like a fun league.

WRs are your best friend.

Most top RBs at the moment are almost too old. Don't be pressured into taking one too early.

Get a young stud QB and TE.

Make sure you have solid wrs. Rbs dont stay elite for long, wrs do.
The qb position is pretty deep, So you should be able to wait a little while and still get a solid qb.

My dynasty league is my favorite by far. We did an auction to start it off so I dont have too much advice

ETA: probably the most important thing you can do is make your own rankings sheet based on dynasty values or find a dynasty rankings list that you like. Dynasty rankings and redraft rankings can be pretty different

Fantasy Pros gives you an option to choose rankings for Dynasty and Keeper leagues. It is pretty good for redraft and dynasty leagues for rankings. Allows you to choose standard or PPR rankings as well.
