This league has a keeper status - standard scoring 10-team. I got Doug Martin for somewhat cheap ($18 in $200 auction league), and will be able to keep him for $20 in 2018 and $22 in 2019. David Johnson will be $63 in 2018 (can only be kept for one more season), and I'm not sure I'd even 'Keep' him for that price.

I'd be getting Julio Jones, and I can keep him for $53 in 2018. I'd also be getting Bilal Powell.

What do you guys think? Should I trade away a cheap doug martin and David Johnson for Julio Jones?

I'm 3-1, mainly due to great scheduling from the fantasy gods. My team is ok. Strength was RB with Leveon Bell and DJ, until DJ got hurt, obviously. Martin is going to be my RB2 when he returns. Julio will become my WR1. Deandre Hopkins will slide down to WR2 if I make the deal. Wendell Smallwood/Derrick Henry/Bilal Powell will move up to RB2 if I make the deal.

Thoughts?

ETA: Amari Cooper/Tyrell Williams will get pushed to the flex if I make the deal.

It's a fair trade.

You're wrong about DJ, the other guy will keep him.(He'll go for more at the draft next year). DJ at that price has a better value than Jones at his price, that's what makes the trade fair.

Yes, you are right, the other owner will definitely keep DJ. He's 0-4 and building for next year. I will be keeping Leveon for $50 and derrick henry for $20 (as long as Titans don't re-sign demarco), so not sure if I'd also keep DJ for $63.

Is there any update on if/when DJ will be back this year?

They said December, but common sense tells us that he probably won't come back if the Cards keep playing like that. They're lucky to have won the last two games

It makes things interesting for sure. Last year I traded L Bell (crazy good keeper value, $30 something) for DJ (bad keeper value, $95), A Cooper and a good TE, I think Kelce.
Gave up a long term asset to win the league , which I did even though Cooper didn't turn out well last year.
