Gotcha; thanks

Sounds like Yahoo expanded their player pool this year, so I figured y'all had to run into some issues in prior years.

Why I don't like having superstars. Read somewhere he could be out for a month this time. So much for 40-40

I mean me being able to type in this thread and say "I want Blah Blah when he gets added to the player pool" and me getting to pick him up before others get the opportunity.

We talked about doing something like this in the offseason. Not sure if we ever voted. Maybe the commish could weigh in. I'd be all for it, especially as we go from 8 to 10 keepers.

yea i got shot down real quick. the plan was going to be for prospects to be basically be put through a waiver claim when they were added by yahoo but since yahoo had such a huge draft pool this year we left it open for grabs for most of the spring training. when I went to change it back to the waiver system yahoo wouldnt let and the prospects remained free agents

Gotcha, thanks. I was for the proposal, but now remember how fast it got rejected.

So the prospects Louie's looking for must not have been in the original draft pool? otherwise he'd still be available for pick up?

Im sorry but the old system was fricking retarded. Whoever goes after them first should be able to get them, not some bullshite waiver system.

The claims process shouldn't change because of Yahoo's shortcomings.

31, I sent something. Not sure where you'd want to start but I'm assuming you'd want OF after just trading Upton.

Yea I'm fine w/ waivers, yahoo just needs to add more prospects. Think they did a pretty good job of expanding the player pool this year tho. Louie this dude must be a super sleeper.

Stephen Pryor - It's the guy thought to be the closer of the future for Seattle. Not a guy that's going to be in super high demand since Wilhelmsen will get 1st crack, but I figured I'd take a chance.

He's dominated the minors the last few years... has a mean put-away slider. Been tracking him since the beginning since League is a bum.
