Don't hate Ron...Hamels is going to be beast this year and Roy O is worth more then what I would get in the 3rd round my 1st pick

and if i finish in the top 6, i like my chances to win the league, just have to finish there, and if its not looking good ill sell off. but everyone is acting like there are not decent spot starters on the market. not every team i face is gonna pwn in pitching bc not every team has good pitching

consider that u have like no draft picks, i doubt u have any type of decent pitching staff

my goal was to never have a good pitching staff, but if i make good pickups based on matchups, i could be fine
you know, you say my team was top three, but i just dont see how you think that. my keepable pitchers were johan lackey and aj. johan we all know, but burnett sucked and will continue to suck in that park, and lackey was coming off his worst year ever and moved to the best division in baseball and is injury prone.
i got value for johan and those guys, have a very nice offense (6 top 25 hitters by my rankings) and i will have closers on lock down against every team but 1 or 2.
it only takes six wins in the playoffs, and its foolish to think that i wont win some pitching categories along the way at some point. i know i wont finish top 3 or 4, but if i can get the 5 or 6 spot, ill be fine.

Cat!!! Please rate the teams based on your rankings. Please
Posted on 3/16/10 at 11:43 pm to Ron Mexico
Why? And you really think your team is that much better then mine?
Posted on 3/16/10 at 11:44 pm to Ron Mexico

you dont know how i think that?
come on, your team had good balance and your offense was pretty similar to what u have now.
6 top 25 hitters is stretching it. I think u have 3, maybe 4.
maybe 6 in the top 50.

that barely works when u have 1 or 2 good pitchers to back it up. You arent going to have any unless u make a trade

all top 25 by my rankings. they include steals as an even value as the other five categories, which you dont believe in, which is why they are top 25 players.

i think you did a good job. you also took my advice and used your picks to do a little fleecin. i was already four picks short, so i couldnt do what you did
if i decide that i cant win, i will have a top 3 team EASY going in to next season

lol, thats cool. no sense in arguing over it if thats what u believe.
if anything, you increased your position flexibility, but i dont think the hard numbers are that much different between those 2 lists of players.
you still dont have any picks or any pitchers, so if that makes it worth it to you, than i am happy for u
