At this point in the year, is Alex Smith a top 5 QB moving forward?

All I know is I'm damn happy I picked him up off waivers in one league a couple weeks ago.

Lmao. I dropped Goff for him right before the season as a backup and have started him ever since then.

It may be hard to get another 200/ 2 the second half; but damn....if he does...

I sure hope so. Was hoping to get by with him until Luck returns, but at this point I don't think Luck could do better than him. If he keeps playing like this, I'm stacked everywhere except TE.

It's a position that isn't doing much right now.

I have a guy offering me Diggs for Gronk right now. If I could package Engram with it; I probably will make the trade.

But right now it's:

Gronk/ Kielce
Ertz
Walker
Clay (see what happens)
Reed
Graham
Engram

I know the position isn't doing well right now but it still tough to see Kyle Rudolph go like 3 quarters without even drawing a target

That's been Rudolph's m.o. for a while now.

He's frustrating to own for sure.

I dropped mariota for him in that league and was concerned I was giving up too early.

Mariota is injury prone. Smith isn't. It looks like you made the right call as of now. You get a bit of a bonus with each as they can both run a little.

Over 300 and 3 TDs. He also had Kelce out! Smith is looking like a fine play after facing a pretty good defense.

I bet my opponent hates that that last TD is a passing TD instead of a run.

As a Smith owner, I love it. Part of the reason I picked him up is the shovel pass and odd forward toss; makes goal line work more pass relevant.

Everyone keeps mentioning that Smith can throw down the field due to their new personnel; he couldn't with Maclin?

Maclin?

This offense is better than when Maclin was there. It's better fantasy- wise for everyone involved.

Should I drop Luck if I have Smith and Cousins rostered?
