Dez has the best QB and the most pass happy offense. He finished #4 WR in 2012. Dallas has 3rd easiest SOS for WRs this year. (Miles Austin and Jeremy Witten to compete with for targets)

AJ is the most gifted WR of the 3 IMO. He finished #5 WR in 2012. Cincy is #12 SOS for WRs this year. (Sanu, Jones, Hawkins and Gresham to compete with for targets.)

BM has a new OC that wants to throw more. He finished #2 WR in 2012. Chicago is #13 SOS for WRs this year. (Forte, Jeffery and Bennett and Bennett to compete with for targets)

I can make arguments for or against any of the 3. Assuming Calvin is gone, who do you take as the 2nd WR in a 10 team PPR and why?

no. I pick 9th of 10 and expect Calvin to be gone, but to have a shot at either of these 3

In a 10 team I take the upside guy since every team has good players.

Dez

I am more inclined to lean toward Dez. He really found his groove last year and has become Romo's go to guy, aside from Witten. I don't know that Witten will stay healthy for a full season, if he misses time, look for Dez to be targeted more. Miles Austin is garbage to me.

I also read where the #2 WR in Tressman's offense usually sees an increase in his numbers, while the #1 WR see his numbers go down; meaning, Tressman's offense is designed to spread the ball out more...plus if you go back and look at the RB Tressman had in Oakland (his name slips my mind...maybe Garner) was one of the higher point scorers in PPR format. So I expect Forte to get a lot of targets this season too. Which means Marshall's numbers might go down, with the numbers of Forte and Jeffery going up. Cutler knows and trusts Marshall though...so there's always that.

I like Green but I don't know if his QB is capable of making him the second best WR in fantasy.

Tough choice and you really can't go wrong but I like Dez more than the other two

Marshall had 60 more targets than Dez.

Jason Witten had 15 more targets then Dez.

Dez had 19 more targets than Austin.

Marshall and Green are THE guys. Hard to argue with targets. Being a physical freak doesnt win fantasy games.

i will definitely take a RB in either the first or the 2nd. i have 2 top 12 so it depends on who falls as to which I take first. I should have a shot at 2 of the 3 even if i wait til round 2 to take the WR

That is one way of looking at it. Personally, I look at it as Dez is the only guy that could realistically see a large bump in targets and production. And even if he doesn't, he is still a top WR.

Rookie Williams is supposed to be the real deal too.

PPR: Green, Marshall, Dez

Non PPR: Green, Marshall, Dez (may take Dez over Marshall if drunk because I like him this year)

Yeah, you are basically splitting hairs when it comes to choosing one.

I think Green will be over 200+ targets this year, which would be a big bump.

Marshall and green have multiple years of "doing it" under their belt. Dez has 8 games? Just something to consider

I might just pick one on a whim at the moment. My WR1 will be set with either of them

I have a feeling Fitzgerald will get an absurd amount of targets too this year. Of course I'd pick one of the 3 mentioned in the OP, but Palmer will look Fitz's way a ton.
