Agreed. Worst to first snake?

I remembered there are probably first round picks owed from last year so would have to do them separate.
I'm looking at the league home and I didn't see them in the main note on league home. Who traded picks this year?
Note says Honk is supposed to send a 2021 2nd to Cajun Saints and that's all I see. We can either include the 2nd as one of Cajun's assets to acquire (which nobody will do), have Honk just forfeit the 2nd pick, or we ignore the trade (I will say that with this team split draft, very few 2nd rounders will be picked this year).
On that note, do we need to expand rosters a spot or 2?

They should probably be separate anyway. I don’t think someone should have the 1st pick in both drafts so need to figure that out.
Maybe do a lottery for the non-playoff teams for dispersal draft, then flip the order for rookie draft. Could then do the same for playoff teams.
I’m indifferent on expanding roster size. Can we go past 20 in ESPN?

I'm down for whatever. We just all need to work on this prior to say, Friday, so we can hopefully start them up this weekend.
I just noticed ESPN changed the format. You don't get a projection option and player previews were removed when you click on the player. This was definitely there a week ago.

I vote randomize the redraft, or weighted lottery based on last years finish for all 14 teams.
Then keep rookie draft order the same way as we usually do.

Yeah we probably don't need to upset the rookie draft.
Doing a weighted, randomized redraft is fine with me. Should it be standard or snake?
Same rules as rookie draft where you can pass. Once you pass, you're done drafting. The remaining teams can keep drafting until they pass. This way we don't need a set number of rounds and some mad FA rush.

Gotta be snake IMO.
There's a lot of good players that will be in the pool. I can't rationalize anyone getting 1 & 13

I don't disagree, just trying to throw out all potential variables now before we have a "what about?" question the day before/of.
So, the proposal is:
1. Rookie Draft: remains the same. Will occur AFTER the player pool reshuffle.
2. Roster Reshuffle Draft: will be a snake draft with the order selected via weighted lottery. You can select/replace a player or pass. If you pass, you are done. If you don't pass, you can continue to select in turn.

Just looked and I believe that we can.

Just an FYI, Ports team can't be deleted. A new league will have to be created.

So far cwill, you, None, and I are in. I'll give you all LM access later today when a few more join.
I assume everyone who has joined is cool with the procedures? I sent an email.
If anyone wants to discuss one on one off board, you can message me on hangouts (my name on here at gmail dot com).
I'll hold the money in my Paypal. Payouts going to remain the same?
We can also discuss roster size now before I finalize the new league's rules.

When we say weighted lottery for the dispersal draft, what exactly will that look like?
Posted on 10/13/21 at 11:43 am to SlowFlowPro
I'm fine with what's been proposed but in the interest of time I think we can do these concurrently
And Port has my entry fees

Toula is the scientist so I"ll let him explain the details. I'm assuming like the NBA lottery, where you get a % to get into the lottery based on position. That way all teams have a shot at a top 6 pick, just the bad teams have more of a shot.

I sent link to my cousin

After looking at in more detail, I don’t know if a weighted lottery is best way to do it.
Kinda cheap for a team to land Jokic and Cunningham

Well philosophically, whomever came into the league had a shot at Jokic and Cunningham on about the same odds if we permitted a redraft. I'm always open to suggestions.
