His average fly ball distance is insane even though it is still early. I picked the wrong breakout Blue Jay.

Predictions looking good so far:
On pace for 32 HR, 88 RBI
Hitting .181, but does have 6 HR.
On pace for 32 HR, 9 SB
Has 7 HR already.
Some that don't look too promising:
quote:
*Russell Martin is a top 5 catcher, hitting 20 HR and driving in 80+ while hitting behind those juiced up frickers in Toronto.
On pace for 32 HR, 88 RBI
quote:
*Evan Gattis slumps for nearly the entire year, finishing with a .220 average and less than 15 HR.
Hitting .181, but does have 6 HR.

quote:
*Matt Carpenter continues the same hitting approach that he had in the playoffs last year, resulting in a power surge. Finishes the year just shy of 20 bombs.
Has 7 HR already.
Some that don't look too promising:
quote:
*Kolten Wong sucks wong. Gets sent to Memphis for a month following a prolonged slump.
quote:
*Jimmy Rollins finds new life in a new place, and it leads to him scoring 100+ runs leading off for the Dodgers.
quote:
*Joc Pederson gets sent back to AAA following a horrendous start to the year, and doesn't get called back up until September.

You would try to call someone out on a "bold prediction" ya slapdick. In May nonetheless

Bump. Here are the all-star level bold predictions:
Honkus:
Braun will not win an MVP, but he is back.
LE:
These flops are due to injuries, but the predictions look good.
Gyno:
Arrieta will not win the Cy Young, but he is defintely proven now. You get half credit on the Yankees one cause the Betances implosion lasted in Spring Training and for like two days in April.
MWG:
VKC:
2/3 on the catchers ain't bad. The Dozier and Arenado predictions are a huge reason for my good first half.
Redd:
Carpenter has 9, but that is definitely some extra pop for an OBP monster.
Tristan Cockcroft:
The bullet point about Rick Porcello is only to qualify Jason Hammel in the following bullet point. Porcello sucks.
Toula:
Papz:
I really liked Martinez. Big mistake not owning him.
Earl:
I believe.
This was fun to look back at. I found it interesting how much LE and I disagreed, but it seems to be working out for both of us so far. 1 vs 2 matchup in RW3R next week.
Honkus:
quote:
OF- Ryan Braun reclaims his spot among baseball's elite on his way to another MVP.
OF- Carlos Gomez' elevated BABIP and free swinging ways finally catch up to him as he falls out of the top 15 OF
Braun will not win an MVP, but he is back.
LE:
quote:
C: Derek Norris pops 23 HR, top 3 among catches
C: Yan Gomes, flash in the pan. Hits 12 and .230
SS: Javier Baez spends most of 2015 in the minors.
OF: josh Harrison returns to being a .250 hitter
These flops are due to injuries, but the predictions look good.
Gyno:
quote:
Sp- jake Arrieta Ks 200+, NL Cy Young winner
C- jon lucroy struggles to be above replacement player
SS- danny Santana lol
Of- marcel ozuna struggles to hit double digit hr
Sp- jon Lester is the 3rd best pitcher in the Cubs rotation
RP- delin betances implodes, andrew Bailey becomes closer
Arrieta will not win the Cy Young, but he is defintely proven now. You get half credit on the Yankees one cause the Betances implosion lasted in Spring Training and for like two days in April.
MWG:

Justin Verlander falls off another cliff. Gets shutdown for a "injury"
VKC:
quote:
C - The trio of 2014 A's catchers all have very good years in 2015 with more at-bats each and a DH role for Jaso. Vogt will also pick up catcher eligibility within two weeks. All three of them are top 10 catchers by season's end.
2B - Brian Dozier
3B - Nolan Arenado is a fringe first-rounder by 2016. Road struggles? That's cute. Call me when he gets traded. Arenado is very receptive to coaching and will continue to improve his already great game. Remember when he was a bad fielder as a prospect? No? Now, he is a GG defender. He flirts with 30/100/.300.
3B - Josh Donaldson wins the AL MVP with a filthy 90/35/110/.280 campaign. Billy Beane is left wondering why he traded for Lawrie who spends 4 months on the DL.
SP - Arrieta is legit. Not sure why they are any doubters after watching him last year.
SP - The foot injury does not affect Chris Sale. He misses two starts, but still makes 30 great starts this year, wins the Cy Young, and his arm still looks like Gumby.
SS - Elvis Andrus is a huge fantasy disappointment as usual. I am not sure why he continues to be drafted so highly when he clearly is awful. He is a more expensive version of Alcides Escobar and Jean Segura.
SP - Alex Cobb's forearm issue is way more than what is reported right now. He fails to reach 100 IP.
RP - Neftali Feliz is dog shite. He strikes out no one and has a worse ERA than Edwin Jackson.
2/3 on the catchers ain't bad. The Dozier and Arenado predictions are a huge reason for my good first half.

Carpenter has 9, but that is definitely some extra pop for an OBP monster.
Tristan Cockcroft:
quote:
• Remember those 80-steal expectations that optimistic fantasy owners had for Billy Hamilton? This season they'll come to fruition, as he steals at least 25 more bases in 2015 than in 2014, making him the first player to reach the 80-steal plateau since Vince Coleman and Rickey Henderson in 1988.
• While everyone claims he'll miss time due to injury, Johnny Cueto will make another 30-plus starts and finish among the top 10 starters on the Player Rater for the second consecutive season.
• Josh Donaldson will hit at least 35 home runs for the Toronto Blue Jays. Yes, it's an old, bold call: I made this one in December, but in case you missed it, here's a recap.
• Jeurys Familia will lead the New York Mets in saves.
• Gerrit Cole will strike out 220 batters with a 2.90 ERA.
• Manny Machado's career high for home runs in a season was 14, set in 2013. He'll hit at least that many after the All-Star break in 2015.
• Matt Shoemaker's ERA will rise by at least one run.
• At the end of the year, fantasy owners will look at the final Player Rater and ask: "Boy, how did Rick Porcello wind up a top-30 starter?" He'll be that productive, and few will have even noticed while it was happening . . . kind of how Phil Hughes did the same in 2014.
• Jason Hammel will be the National League's such pitcher.
• Nelson Cruz will hit at least 33 home runs.
The bullet point about Rick Porcello is only to qualify Jason Hammel in the following bullet point. Porcello sucks.
Toula:

Check out my boy Billy Burns. Leading the majors in hits this spring and gonna make the team with Coco on the DL.
