Kershaw- 5.24 ERA in 77IP (career 2.60 ERA)
Bumgarner- 4.27 ERA in 52IP (career 3.08 ERA)
Lincecum- 4.52 ERA in 81IP (career 3.46 ERA)
Some of the best the NL West and the league has to offer, yes?
One for good measure
Maddux- 5.19 ERA in 85IP (3.16 career)
Id never own a pitcher who threw in Coors.
ETA- these are their ERA in Coors in case it wasn't obvious

It's not impossible to pitch there. Latos does a decent job there I think. Cain was good there until last year when he shite the bed all season long. I'm sure there are others.

I don't give a shite...comment away, that's why we here tant it???

I liked your picks. Now give me Abreu.
Posted on 3/8/14 at 4:26 pm to reddman
Yeah it's not impossible. He will be fine IRL as he will out pitch most of his counterparts.
He could be a better than Appel talent wise, but is he better than Appel fantasy wise with an ERA inflated by a run and WHIP by .5? I guess you could start him only on the road and be golden

According to Will I only drafted him as trade bait so I'm sure you'll get him sooner or later
Oh and frick Peyton for not even giving a list of players so we can move on....

I can see the argument that Bryant fits your model more than Abreu does.
Gray and Appel? Wash imo

Kinda hard for Rick to wtfpwn a draft if it's stopped
Posted on 3/8/14 at 5:31 pm to EarlyBird
You don't think Coors affects Gray?
Posted on 3/8/14 at 6:38 pm to EarlyBird
Appel is in a better situation than gray and that tips the scales between 2 pitchers that aren't far apart in talent.

I said that about Tanaka...but by the time your minor league team is competitive Abreu will be 30.

Abreu and tanaka are trade bait...best draft picks for those guys as they won't make a diff for those guys but help bottom end contenders.
