Advice request from a non-New Orleans guy. Is there a way to park for the Saints game while avoiding the cluster frick. I'm willing to walk approximately 10 blocks. Thanks in advance.

One Shell Square is a good choice. Also the Pam-Am building just past that on the same side of Poydras.

I talked to my NO expert and all he said was "Good Luck". His advice was to roll to the back side of the quarter and try to find something on the street. Y'all think those garages will have spaces available with the Saints/LSU/Alabama crowd? I'm also leery of getting anywhere near the dome and sitting still for an hour +. Thanks for the info.

My wife isn't getting down there until 615 or so. She's more fricked than you.

Cwill, I thought about that. I'm just worried about finding one after the game.

After the game go to the Roosevelt or the Monteleone, have a drink, then have the bellboy grab a cab for you.

Are you familiar with New Orleans?

Exit I-10 at the Tulane/Carrolton exit. Shoot up Tulane and hook a right on S. Galvez. You drive a few blocks on S Galvez and pass Poydras. Take a right on the street directly past Poydras and park in that area.

It's a 5 minute walk to the Dome. And when you leave, you sneak out the same way you came in to minimal traffic.

It is hands down the best route to avoid traffic. Only a rookie is going anywhere near the Dome and CBD. The method above is the best kept secret in Superdome parking history
