ESPN's Buster Olney reports that the Rangers recently decided to continue to explore the possibility of trading Michael Young.
Olney lists the Rockies as the most likely trade partner for the Rangers. They've been heavily linked to Young for a while now and reportedly nearly had a deal that would have sent Eric Young, Jr. to Texas before the Rangers pulled the plug at the last minute. Rangers president Nolan Ryan said just a week ago that they would not deal Young, but it appears he's at least still willing to listen to offers. We'd expect talks to continue up until spring training.

Yeah I knew it was a rumor three weeks ago...but Ryan said about a week ago they werent trading him.
They seem to be waffling.
I'd love it if he was traded.

I think half of Earl's keepers are going to start the year in the minors.

he got a cup of tea last year, so he isnt far off either way. Its too far out to say he wont start in the majors this year anyway. With Werth gone, they are short on OF.
