Greater Nashville is purple. Metro and Davidson County are blue but Williamson County and the bedroom communities are red.
I guess it just depends on how wide you want to draw the circle from downtown.

big time. Williamson County rarely even has Democrats run in local elections at this point

East Memphis and the rest of Shelby County do their part. There are just too many non-white people in the county for it to go red

Jackson is in Madison County. My wife is from there. I lived there for 6 years as well.
It’s definitely closer than most counties, but still plenty of baws keep it red despite the demos being basically 50/50.
Haywood County is Brownsville, much smaller but demographics are more like Memphis.

Memphis, Nashville and Brownsville are the red pockets.
Nashville is toast. It's just a matter of time

As blue as blue can be.
The entire State of Tennessee however... hell, we didn't even vote for Al Gore when he was running.

Nashville is blue but I live one county over and we bleed red!

Gotta agree with you there. Have met him a few times... he showed up to Oktoberfest in full German attire to tap the keg a few weeks back.

I know a lot of Californians who moved here and most are very conservation. They wanted to escape Hell, not recreate it.

Franklin might be the best place to live in America. I had never really heard of it until we moved there and it took about 3 days to start loving it! I feel like we lived more in Cool Springs than Brentwood but I loved it there

Got family in Nashville but still like Memphis better. That’s just me.
