Why does the left feel so entitled to the presidency?

Reading the melt on twitter and through the media, you get this sense of shock and disbelief. Basically a collective "how can this happen??!!"

When the right lost elections we get upset but not this type of collective melt down like the world was over.

The best thing about this is that hopefully this kills that left elitist arrogant attitude. That is their downfall.
