Repeal and Replace Obamacare

Obviously, this will be the first thing the Repubs do, controlling everything in DC...
Will they use the finance loophole in order to make the Senate vote only 50 votes, like the Dems did to them, or do you think they try to initially do it in a standard manner and then go nuclear after that fails?

Its really hard to say. Obamacare has flaws, but I really do think enough people support the concept of having a government healthcare. I assumed that a Rep. Congress would simply make some changes to it to make it more efficient for both sides.
The increase in premiums really needs to stop.

I don't know but this needs to happen. The costs are absurd.

I think the mandate is definitely going away, but the preexisting conditions part will need to go away for that to help.
Requiring competition across state lines would be a huge first step.

I think completely shoving it out the door as far as its intertwined now could be catastrophic and they have to do something, no doubt...
But I'm just curious if they will try to go about the change in the spirit of procedures and pass it with the 60 votes in the senate or if they will immediately use the parliamentary procedure that the dems used in order to ram it through initially.
Basically, do they say "Were better than you, watch" or "We can play in the mud to, payback is a bitch"

This alone will save me thousands right out of the gate! What a glorious day!!

Unless Trump and the Republicans have a conciliatory tone consistently for the length of the debate, I think it will be option number 2.
My hope is that whatever replaces Obamacare keeps the preexisting condition stipulation, but does something about the rising premiums.
